Jessica Harvey was all over the ice for OTTAWA, as she tallied two goals in OTTAWA's 4-1 win over AURORA. Harvey found the back of the net 8:35 into the second period to make the score 2-0 OTTAWA and again while 4:58 into the third to make the score 3-1 OTTAWA.After the loss made the series score 1-2 in the best of five series, AURORA faces elimination next time out. AURORA was stymied by OTTAWA netminder Amanda Leveille, who stopped 30 shots during the victory. Leveille certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 2.12 entering the contest. Cydney Roesler (C) also scored for OTTAWA. More assists for OTTAWA came via Cristin Shanahan (A), who had two and Mackenzie Lalonde, Morgan McNeil, and Katelyn Fournier, who each chipped in one. OTTAWA was unable to stop AURORA from sending pucks towards the net, and AURORA eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. AURORA's penalty kill unit could not stop OTTAWA's power play, which converted on three of five opportunities. AURORA was led by Caroline DeBruin(A), who scored the team's only goal. DeBruin(A) scored 29 seconds into the third period to make the score 2-1 OTTAWA. Brianna Veerman(A) provided the assist. OTTAWA incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
