Thamesford survives Lambeth comeback, wins 6-4

The Thamesford Trojans survived a determined comeback attempt by the Lambeth Lancers on the way to a 6-4 win.
A goal by Kyle Walker put Thamesford up 6-3 in the third period, but Lambeth pulled to within two on Tanner Smith's tally 16:20 into the third period.
After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, the Lancers face elimination next time out.
The Trojans kept Lambeth's goalie busy throughout the game, and JP Trudell made 31 saves on 37 shots.
Thamesford also got a goal from Garrett King as well. More assists for Thamesford came via Jake Hunter, who had two and Ethan Doan, John Publicover, and Travis Parkin, who each chipped in one.
The Lancers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Thamesford power plays. Thamesford was unable to stop Lambeth from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lancers eventually piled up 48 shots on goal.
Lambeth also got points from Mitch Furlonger, who also racked up one goal and two assists and Conor Chilvers, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Lambeth were Mike Golinowski, who had one and Ryan Pennington, who had two.
Chris Walker rejected 44 shots on goal for the Trojans. Thamesford incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. Lambeth incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
