Brampton came close to giving away a three-goal lead to Toronto, but did just enough to escape with a 4-2 victory.

Brampton stifled Toronto's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Brampton got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. Brampton could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Brampton additionally got points from Vicki Bendus, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Lori Dupuis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Molly Engstrom also scored for Brampton.
