AURORA relied on the scoring touch of Brianna Veerman(A), who netted two goals, to beat OTTAWA, 2-1. Veerman(A) scored at 14:46 into the first period to make the score 1-0 AURORA and again while 19:40 into the third to make the score 2-1 AURORA.The win by AURORA clinched the best of five series at 3-2. AURORA's Paula Voorheis was a brick wall in net, as she came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him. Voorheis managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 1.8 prior to the game. AURORA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow OTTAWA to score on any of its three power plays. Other players who recorded assists for AURORA were Alie Brindamour-McClure(A), who had two and Bryanna Neuwald and Courtney Brindamour-McClure(A), who each chipped in one. OTTAWA's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three AURORA power plays. OTTAWA was led by Jessica Harvey, who scored the team's only goal. Harvey scored 5:26 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Alanna Grossutti provided the assist. AURORA incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
