BURLINGTON tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but MISSISSAUGA would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. MISSISSAUGA made the score 4-2 on a goal by Nicole Connery at 2:36 in the third period, and BURLINGTON got as close as 4-3 when Logan Boyd scored 12:21 into the third period. After the loss made the series score 2-0 in the best of five series, BURLINGTON faces elimination next time out. MISSISSAUGA was sparked by Connery, who registered one goal and one assist. MISSISSAUGA capitalized on BURLINGTON's penalties, netting three goals while skating with a man advantage. MISSISSAUGA also got points from Hayley Masters, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Kristyn Capizzano also scored for MISSISSAUGA. More assists for MISSISSAUGA came via Hilary Lloyd, who had three and Mikaela Lowater and Kristen Tamberg, who each chipped in one. BURLINGTON was helped by Christine Grant, who racked up one goal. MISSISSAUGA ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Masters was ejected from the game. Kasia Henley made 15 saves for BURLINGTON on 19 shots.
