BURLINGTON tried its best to erase a two-goal deficit, but MISSISSAUGA would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

MISSISSAUGA made the score 4-2 on a goal by Nicole Connery at 2:36 in the third period, and BURLINGTON got as close as 4-3 when Logan Boyd scored 12:21 into the third period.

After the loss made the series score 2-0 in the best of five series, BURLINGTON faces elimination next time out.

MISSISSAUGA was sparked by Connery, who registered one goal and one assist.

MISSISSAUGA capitalized on BURLINGTON's penalties, netting three goals while skating with a man advantage.
