Jesse Raymond had a standout game with 38 saves, and the Stratford Cullitons beat the Elmira Sugar Kings 2-1.

Stratford was led by Steven Dol, who registered one goal. Dol scored 11:19 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Stratford. Brock Reynolds provided the assist.

The Cullitons stifled the Sugar Kings' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Elmira was unable to stop Stratford from sending pucks towards the net, and the Cullitons eventually piled up 34 shots on goal.

Stratford also got a goal from Ray Huether as well. Other players who recorded assists for Stratford were Pat Clifford and Jared Culliton, who contributed one a piece.

The Sugar Kings' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six Stratford power plays. Elmira's offense rang up 39 shots on Stratford's net.
