St. Marys downs London, 4-1

Blake Thompson racked up one point to lead the St. Marys Lincolns to a 4-1 victory over the London Nationals.

With the win, St. Marys evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown.

The Lincolns took advantage of London's penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities.

St. Marys additionally got points from Calvin Penney, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Brady Wiffen, who also tallied one goal and two assists. Reid Oliver also scored for St. Marys. In addition, St. Marys received assists from Kurtis Lavis and Brendon Merritt, who contributed one a piece.

The Nationals were led by Daniel Cameron, who scored the team's only goal. Cameron scored on the power play 4:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 London. London earned a power play opportunity when Mitchell Fitzmorris was put in the box for hooking. Aaron Dartch provided the assist.

Craig Wood made 24 saves for St. Marys on 25 shots. The Lincolns incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Nationals' Taylor Edwards stopped 22 shots out of the 25 that he faced. London incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
