Alex DeWitz had two goals and one assist to lead Helena to a 5-1 victory over Billings.

DeWitz's tallies came at 3:56 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Helena and 8:20 into the second to make the score 5-0 Helena.

The win moved Helena to down 2-0 in the best of seven series.

Helena's Trey Flesch was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him.

Helena's penalty kill excelled, as Helena gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Helena stifled Billings' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Billings was unable to stop Helena from sending pucks towards the net, and Helena eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.

Helena also got points from Cody Blom, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Helena also got a goal from Ben Henne as well. In addition, Helena received assists from Drew Ingram, Trevor Tracy, and Logan Hawgood, who each chipped in one and Danny Fazio and Balasz Goz, who contributed two a piece.

Helena incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Nic Wackerly made 39 saves for Billings on 44 shots. Billings incurred 34 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors.
