Tornado Niesky could not stop EHV Schönheide's Miroslav Jenka, who tallied a hat trick in an 8-4 win.

Jenka got on the scoresheet 22 seconds into the first period. He then added goals at 6:15 into the second and at 6:54 into the third.

EHV Schönheide stifled Tornado Niesky's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

EHV Schönheide also got a goal from Patrick Preiß as well. In addition, EHV Schönheide received assists from David Seidl, who had two and Bjorn Schenkel, Christian Heumann, Marcus Löffler, Dustin Hered, and Roy Hähnlein, who contributed one a piece.
