Early goals doom ESC Dresden, falls to Black Dragons Erfurt, 17-0

ESC Dresden fell behind early, and Black Dragons Erfurt kept piling on the points on the way to a 17-0 victory.

Black Dragons Erfurt got the win on the strength of a great game by Robert Schmidt, who had four goals and one assist. Schmidt's first goal came 1:59 into the first period. He then added goals at 7:14 into the second, at 10:50 into the second, and at 7:02 into the third.

ESC Dresden's eight penalties came back to haunt it, as ESC Dresden let up four goals while on the penalty kill.
