Pickering Recreation Complex    Sun, Mar 11, 2012

Tyler Feaver stood on his head and made 32 saves to lead the Whitby Fury to a 2-1 victory over the Kingston Voyageurs.

After the loss made the series score 3-0 in the best of seven series, Kingston faces elimination next time out.

Whitby was led by Peter Neal, who grabbed one goal. Neal scored 14:02 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Whitby. Brian Hubers picked up the assist.

The Fury's offense rang up 46 shots on the Voyageurs' net.

Whitby also got a goal from Sam Gray as well. More assists for Whitby came via Zachary Graham, Devin Shore, and Matt Davis, who each chipped in one.

Kingston put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Whitby to score on any of its three power plays. The Fury were unable to stop the Voyageurs from sending pucks towards the net, and Kingston eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

The Voyageurs were led by Brian Nanne, who scored the team's only goal. Nanne scored 8:54 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Kingston. Brett Du Puy assisted on the tally.

Whitby incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Charlie Finn rejected 44 shots on goal for Kingston. The Voyageurs incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
