Johnny Mueller tallied two points to lead the St. Louis Jr. Blues to a 2-1 victory over the Quad City Jr. Flames. The win by St. Louis clinched the best of three series at 2-1. The Jr. Blues' offense rang up 58 shots on Quad City's net. St. Louis also got a goal from Matt Townsend as well. More assists for St. Louis came via Paul OConnor, Will Quillman, and Bobby Brown, who contributed one a piece. The Jr. Flames were led by Jake Nordenstrom, who scored the team's only goal. Nordenstrom scored 10:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Quad City. Abraham Liebel assisted on the tally. Mitchell Fernsler made 22 saves for St. Louis on 23 shots. The Jr. Blues incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Michael Meadows recorded 56 saves for Quad City. The Jr. Flames incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
