New Hampshire Monarchs boosted by Devine's play in net, beats Mass Maple Leafs 4-1

Alex Devine had a standout game with 26 saves, and the New Hampshire Monarchs Monarchs beat the Mass Maple Leafs Maple Leafs 4-1.

New Hampshire Monarchs' penalty kill excelled, as the Monarchs gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

New Hampshire Monarchs was sparked by Teddy McCarran, who finished with one goal and one assist. McCarran scored 14:59 into the second period to make the score 2-1 New Hampshire Monarchs.

The Monarchs stifled Mass Maple Leafs' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. New Hampshire Monarchs' offense rang up 37 shots on the Maple Leafs' net. The Monarchs' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals.

New Hampshire Monarchs also got points from Paul Pirozzo, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Kevin Miner also scored for New Hampshire Monarchs. Other players who recorded assists for New Hampshire Monarchs were Christopher Zuccaro, Kyle LaJeunesse, and Lukas Audycki, who each chipped in one.

Mass Maple Leafs was held below its usual level of production. The Maple Leafs put an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game.

Mass Maple Leafs was led by Joseph Fernandes, who scored the team's only goal. Fernandes scored 1:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Mass Maple Leafs. Samuel Jenkins assisted on the tally.

New Hampshire Monarchs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Cody Stocker made 33 saves for the Maple Leafs on 36 shots. Mass Maple Leafs incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
