New Hampshire Monarchs pulls away in second, rolls over Philadelphia Revolution, 9-3

The Philadelphia Revolution Revolution was within striking distance after one period, but the New Hampshire Monarchs Monarchs put the pedal down in the second en route to a 9-3 victory.

Taylor Vincent had two goals to lead New Hampshire Monarchs to victory. Vincent's tallies came at 9:09 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 3:04 into the second to make the score 4-2 New Hampshire Monarchs.

The Monarchs made Revolution's goaltenders to work in net, finishing with 43 shots and forcing 34 saves. Robert Palzer made 22 stops and Joseph Marshall made 12. New Hampshire Monarchs bested its season scoring average. This season, the Monarchs average 6.5 goals per contest.

New Hampshire Monarchs additionally got points from Paul Pirozzo, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Kyle LaJeunesse, who also registered three goals and one assist, Brent Beaudoin, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Kevin Miner, who also had one goal and one assist. New Hampshire Monarchs also got a goal from Teddy McCarran as well. More assists for New Hampshire Monarchs came via Christopher Zuccaro, who had two, Lukas Audycki, who had three, and Nate OBrien and Christopher Moquin, who contributed one a piece.

Philadelphia Revolution was helped by Sean Fleming, who finished with two goals and one assist. Fleming scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 13:56 into the first period to make the score 3-2 New Hampshire Monarchs. The Revolution had gained a power play chance when Olli Jansson was whistled for interference. James Wallace picked up the assist. Fleming's next tally on the power play made the score 9-3 New Hampshire Monarchs with 2:35 left in the third period. Philadelphia Revolution had gotten the advantage when New Hampshire Monarchs' Beaudoin was sent off for slashing. Ryan OMalley assisted on the tally. Philadelphia Revolution also got points from Kyle Jennings, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Other players who recorded assists for Philadelphia Revolution were James Tierney, who had one.

Alex Devine took the win and made 19 saves before being replaced by Dylan Palmer who made three saves. The Monarchs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Revolution incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
