Caroline DeBruin(A) scores 3 times to lead AURORA to a 5-1 victory over ETOBICOKE.

After the loss made the series score 1-2 in the best of five series, ETOBICOKE faces elimination next time out.

AURORA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow ETOBICOKE to score on any of its five power plays. ETOBICOKE was unable to stop AURORA from sending pucks towards the net, and AURORA eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

AURORA also got points from Brianna Veerman(A), who also finished with one goal and one assist and Courtney Brindamour-McClure(A) with one goal. 

AURORA got a Penalty Shot goal from Caroline DeBruin(A).

More assists for AURORA came via Jessica Gillham, who had two and Nadia Popov, Mackenzie Johnston, Hailey Noronha, and Lauren Cavarzan, who each chipped in one.

ETOBICOKE found itself short handed often, totaling 14 penalty minutes and allowing six power plays.

ETOBICOKE was led by Emma Dahlgren (C), who scored the team's only goal. Dahlgren (C) scored 18 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 ETOBICOKE. Nicole Atkinson provided the assist.

AURORA's Paula Voorheis stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that she faced. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Amanda Smith rejected 28 shots on goal for ETOBICOKE.
