OAKVILLE fell behind early, and LONDON kept piling on the points on the way to a 5-2 victory. With the win, LONDON evened the series at 1-1 in the best of five showdown. LONDON stifled OAKVILLE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. LONDON kept OAKVILLE's goalie busy throughout the game, and Camille Leonard made 38 saves on 43 shots. LONDON was helped by Cassidy Gosling (A), who grabbed one goal and one assist. Gosling (A) scored 12:30 into the first period to make the score 3-0 LONDON. Clare Sabine provided the assist. LONDON also got points from Kyla Crouse, who also tallied one goal and one assist. LONDON also had goals scored by Jessica Ross, who had one and Abbey McRae (A), who had two. In addition, LONDON received assists from Brittany Howard and Paige Horton, who contributed one a piece. OAKVILLE put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow LONDON to score on any of its four power plays. OAKVILLE was helped by Victoria Bach, who tallied one goal.
