NEPEAN survived a determined comeback attempt by STONEY CREEK on the way to a 2-1 win.

NEPEAN made the score 2-0 on a goal by Madison Shelley at 13:53 in the second period, and STONEY CREEK got as close as 2-1 when Emilee Paron scored 14:56 into the third period.

With the win, NEPEAN evened the series at 1-1 in the best of five showdown.

STONEY CREEK was stymied by NEPEAN netminder Mati Barrett, who stopped 34 shots during the victory. Barrett managed to improve on her goals against average, which stood at 1.77 prior to the game.
