Emma Pearson finished with two points to lead BURLINGTON to a 3-0 victory over CAMBRIDGE. The win gave BURLINGTON a 1-0 lead in the best of five series. CAMBRIDGE's offense was handcuffed by BURLINGTON's defensive play, and CAMBRIDGE managed only 10 shots on goal during the game. CAMBRIDGE's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as CAMBRIDGE finished with 26 penalty minutes. Kasia Henley recorded 10 saves for BURLINGTON. BURLINGTON incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Abby Huggins rejected 25 shots on goal for CAMBRIDGE. CAMBRIDGE registered zero goals on four power play opportunities.
