The Lambeth Lancers tried to dig themselves out of a two-goal hole, but the Exeter Hawks held on for a 4-3 victory. A goal by Hayden Cann put Exeter up 4-2 in the third period, but Lambeth pulled to within one on Dale Morningstar's tally 9:49 into the third period. After the loss made the series score 2-3 in the best of seven series, the Lancers face elimination next time out. The Hawks were led by Cann, who racked up one goal. Cann scored 7:44 into the third period to make the score Exeter. Brandon Gautreau provided the assist. Kalvin Thornton also scored for Exeter. More assists for Exeter came via Alex Garon, Kyle Craner, Mitch Wild, Josh Brideau, and Wesley McGovern, who each chipped in one. Lambeth excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Lancers kept Exeter's goalie busy throughout the game, and Aaron Bedard made 32 saves on 35 shots. Lambeth additionally got points from Tanner Smith, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Lambeth also got a goal from Mitch Thomas as well. In addition, Lambeth received assists from Nick West, Mitch Furlonger, and Tyson Corkum, who contributed one a piece. The Hawks incurred 36 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. JP Trudell rejected 26 shots on goal for Lambeth. The Lancers incurred 44 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
