Eric Steinman had a standout game with 43 saves, and the Mt.Brydges Bulldogs beat the Thamesford Trojans 2-1.

After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Thamesford faces elimination next time out.

Mt.Brydges pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 20 penalty minutes.

The Bulldogs were paced by Grant Johns, who registered one goal. Johns scored 18:53 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Mt.Brydges. Jeff Kennedy assisted on the tally.

Mt.Brydges stifled the Trojans' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bulldogs' offense rang up 38 shots on Thamesford's net.
