Wild Boys Chemnitz vanquishes ECC Preussen Juniors in shootout, 4-3 (1-0 SO)

Wild Boys Chemnitz and ECC Preussen Juniors both failed to score in overtime, but Wild Boys Chemnitz won the game 4-3 (1-0 SO) after Jorg Pohling's deciding goal in the shootout.

The shootout featured six attempts between both teams.

Wild Boys Chemnitz overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Wild Boys Chemnitz trailed 2-0 after a goal by ECC Preussen Juniors' Alexander Lindecke at 18:43 in the first period. Wild Boys Chemnitz tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Tobias Rentzsch at 19:06 in the third period.

Wild Boys Chemnitz excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Wild Boys Chemnitz got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
