EV Regensburg had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over EC Peiting.

EV Regensburg evened the best of five series at 2-2 and forced a deciding game five.

Thomas Daffner had two goals and two assists to lead EV Regensburg. Daffner scored the first of his two goals at 13:43 into the first period to make the score 3-0 EV Regensburg. Kyle Schmidt assisted on the tally. Daffner's next tally made the score 5-2 EV Regensburg with 2:19 left in the third period. Schmidt provided the assist.

EV Regensburg cashed in on power play opportunities, scoring three goals on four chances.

EV Regensburg also got points from Josef Menauer, who also had one goal and one assist. Sven Gerike also scored for EV Regensburg.
