Deggendorf Fire almost clawed its way back from a three-goal deficit, but Selber Wölfe managed to pull out a 5-3 win in the end.

Selber Wölfe led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when Selber Wölfe's Herbert Geisberger's scored at 6:27 in the second period to put Selber Wölfe up 4-1.

After the loss made the series score 2-1 in the best of five series, Deggendorf Fire faces elimination next time out.
