Dubé leads Tölzer Löwen over EHF Passau Black Hawks, 5-2

Tölzer Löwen's Yanick Dubé had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 5-2 win over EHF Passau Black Hawks.

Dubé found the back of the net 10:51 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Tölzer Löwen and again while 3:52 into the second to make the score 3-1 Tölzer Löwen.

After the loss made the series score 0-2 in the best of five series, EHF Passau Black Hawks faces elimination next time out.

Tölzer Löwen put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow EHF Passau Black Hawks to score on any of its four power plays.

Tölzer Löwen additionally got points from Christoph Fischhaber, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Christian Kolacny, who also registered one goal and one assist. Yasin (FL) Ehliz also scored for Tölzer Löwen. In addition, Tölzer Löwen received assists from Johannes (FL) Sedlmayr, who had four and Peter (FL) Lindlbauer, Pascal Sternkopf, and Marco Pfleger, who each chipped in one.

EHF Passau Black Hawks could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game.

EHF Passau Black Hawks was helped by Waldemar Detterer, who finished with one goal. Detterer scored 4:39 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Tölzer Löwen. Martin Piecha provided the assist. Other players who recorded assists for EHF Passau Black Hawks were Jakub Wiecki, who had one.

Tölzer Löwen totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 2-for-8 on the power play. Tölzer Löwen ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Florian (FL) Strobl was ejected from the game.
