Jordan Walsh was all over the ice for the Lakefield Chiefs, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Lakefield's 7-1 win over the Georgina Ice. Walsh found the back of the net 8:04 into the second period to make the score 5-1 Lakefield and again while 10:27 into the third to make the score 7-1 Lakefield.After the loss made the series score 1-3 in the best of seven series, Georgina faces elimination next time out. The Chiefs stifled the Ice's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lakefield additionally got points from Eric Oosting, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Nathan Larson, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Derek Manley, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Lakefield also got a goal from Mike Madgett as well. Other players who recorded assists for Lakefield were Reid Faught, Curtis Bolton, Tyler Stone, Stephen Woodbeck, Connor Blair, and Tyler Roy, who each chipped in one. Georgina's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as the Ice finished with 32 penalty minutes. Georgina was led by Vaughan Pilote, who scored the team's only goal. Pilote scored 2:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Georgina. Scott Sandercock assisted on the tally. Lakefield incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Ice registered zero goals on four power play opportunities.
