Teddy McCarran banged in three goals and Dylan Rothenberger also chipped in two points, but New Hampshire Jr Monarchs tied Junior Bruins, 4-4 (OT).

The Junior Bruins put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow New Hampshire Jr Monarchs to score on any of its five power plays. Junior Bruins kept New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Alex Devine made 39 saves on 43 shots.

The Junior Bruins were led by Tyler Warila, who tallied one goal and one assist. Warila scored on the power play 13:56 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Junior Bruins. Junior Bruins earned a power play opportunity when Christopher Zuccaro was put in the box for boarding. Kyle Webb provided the assist. Junior Bruins also got points from Conor Garland, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Jack Eichel also scored for Junior Bruins. Other players who recorded assists for Junior Bruins were Chris Miller and Josh Couturier, who contributed one a piece.

The Junior Bruins were unable to stop New Hampshire Jr Monarchs from sending pucks towards the net, and New Hampshire Jr Monarchs eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

In addition, New Hampshire Jr Monarchs received assists from Luke Bennett, Andrew Pierce, Lukas Audycki, and Brent Beaudoin, who each chipped in one.

Junior Bruins' Brian McGrath stopped 28 shots out of the 32 that he faced. The Junior Bruins incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
