Huge game by Stallard boosts Atlanta Knights over East Coast Eagles, 8-0

Atlanta Knights' Cole Stallard had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 8-0 win over East Coast Eagles.

Stallard found the back of the net 1:04 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Atlanta Knights and again while 14:19 into the third to make the score 5-0 Atlanta Knights.

The win gave Atlanta Knights a 1-0 lead in the best of one series.

Sean Davis spearheaded the defensive effort for Atlanta Knights, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 37 saves for the shutout.

Atlanta Knights' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on six East Coast Eagles power plays. East Coast Eagles was unable to stop Atlanta Knights from sending pucks towards the net, and Atlanta Knights eventually piled up 42 shots on goal.

Atlanta Knights also got points from Richard Privette, who also racked up one goal and two assists, Brandon Harley, who also tallied one goal and two assists, Andrew Newman, who also finished with one goal and three assists, Justin Fisher, who also racked up one goal and three assists, and Stallard, who also tallied two goals and one assist. Atlanta Knights got a goal from Andrew Daehlin as well. More assists for Atlanta Knights came via Buddy Naber and Ryan Griggs, who each chipped in one.

East Coast Eagles' offense efficiently hummed along to the tune of 37 shots put on Atlanta Knights' net. East Coast Eagles could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. The leading offender was AJ Seffels, who totaled four minutes in penalty time with two minors.

Atlanta Knights incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Scott Jackson turned away 34 pucks between the pipes for East Coast Eagles.
