The Clarington Eagles rallied from three goals down to secure a 5-4 win over the Little Britain Merchants.

Clarington never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Eagles was down 4-1 after a goal by Little Britain's Curtis Lee at 16:35 in the first period. Clarington tied things up at 4-4 on a power play goal by Courtland Black-Araujo at 10:34 in the second period. The Eagles netted the game winner at 15:42 in the third period on a goal by Black-Araujo.

After the loss made the series score 1-3 in the best of seven series, the Merchants face elimination next time out.

Black-Araujo was all over the ice for Clarington, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win.

Little Britain was unable to stop the Eagles from sending pucks towards the net, and Clarington eventually piled up 38 shots on goal.

Clarington also got points from Brad Down, who also had one goal and one assist. Dylan Howorko also scored for Clarington. In addition, Clarington received assists from Brock Ackerman, who had two and Jake Choiniere, Tyler Neil, Eric Kimmerly, Justin Devouge, Brett Brown, and Kyle Richardson, who contributed one a piece.

The Merchants could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

Little Britain was helped by Dan Longfield, who racked up one goal and one assist. Longfield scored short handed 11:59 into the first period to make the score 3-1 Little Britain. A roughing call on T.J. Doran put the Merchants on the penalty kill. Mitch Thurston picked up the assist. Little Britain additionally got points from Jason Dear, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Little Britain also got a goal from Jessie Mallette as well. Other players who recorded assists for Little Britain were Rory McDowell, who had one.

The Eagles' Adam Wood stopped 23 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Clarington incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Neil Pittock made 33 saves for Little Britain on 38 shots. The Merchants registered two goals on five power play opportunities.
