The Toronto Lakeshore Patriots survived a determined comeback attempt by the Vaughan Vipers on the way to a 5-4 win. A goal by Robbie Murden put Toronto Lakeshore up 5-2 in the third period, but Vaughan pulled to within one on Marcus Hinds' tally 18:37 into the third period. The Patriots evened the best of seven series at 3-3 and forced a deciding game seven. James Ryan was all over the ice for Toronto Lakeshore, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Ryan scored 7:23 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Doug Bonar assisted on the tally. Toronto Lakeshore also got a goal from Daniel Tedesco as well. In addition, Toronto Lakeshore received assists from Ryan Kinsella, who had two and Shane Cavalieri, Wes Deme, Kyle Dutra, and Brandon Willett, who each chipped in one. Vaughan also got points from John Carpino, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Matt Silcoff also scored for Vaughan. More assists for Vaughan came via Ryan Clarkson, who had one and Anthony Mastrodicasa and Michael Apreda, who each chipped in two. The Patriots' Joseph Pianta stopped 22 shots out of the 26 that he faced. Toronto Lakeshore incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Vipers took out Victor Adamo after he had made four saves and installed George Argiropoulos in goal, where he finished with 13 saves and the loss. Vaughan incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
