In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the St. George Dukes escaped with a 4-2 victory over the Tavistock Braves. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Andrew Swaniga secured the win for St. George with a goal in the third period. The win by the Dukes clinched the best of seven series at 4-3. St. George pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 12 penalty minutes. The Dukes were sparked by Swaniga, who racked up one goal. Swaniga scored 11:59 into the third period to make the score 3-2 St. George. Pat Bates provided the assist. St. George excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in six chances. St. George also got a goal from Nick Cole as well. In addition, St. George received assists from Andrew Huddle, Jamie Snow, and Kyle Baker, who each chipped in one. Tavistock's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five St. George power plays. The Braves' offense rang up 33 shots on the Dukes' net. Tavistock was helped by Josh Wagler, who had one goal. Wagler scored 12:28 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Charlie Irwin picked up the assist. Nick Quehl also scored for Tavistock. More assists for Tavistock came via Darrin Pye, Andrew Schacht, and James McCorquodale, who contributed one a piece. Tanner Armstrong rejected 31 shots on goal for St. George. Luke Zehr made 22 saves for the Braves on 25 shots. Tavistock incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
