Mt.Brydges downs Lucan in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Mt.Brydges Bulldogs' Adam Fletcher scored 16:33 into overtime to beat the Lucan Irish, 3-2 (OT).

The win by Mt.Brydges clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

The Bulldogs' penalty kill excelled, as Mt.Brydges gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

The Bulldogs were led by Fletcher, who registered one goal.

Mt.Brydges stifled Lucan's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bulldogs kept the Irish's goalie busy throughout the game, and Dylan Gray made 50 saves on 53 shots.

Connor Dunn also scored for Mt.Brydges. More assists for Mt.Brydges came via David Wade and Nick Assissi, who contributed one each.

Lucan was helped by Mitch Smith, who had one goal. Smith scored 10:25 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Lucan. Nick Moniz provided the assist. Lucan got a goal from Jake Flemington as well. In addition, Lucan received assists from Dylan Moss, who had one.

Eric Steinman made 28 saves for Mt.Brydges on 30 shots. The Bulldogs incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Irish incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
