Penetang falls to Alliston in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The Alliston Hornets' Zenon Byblow scored 2:11 into overtime to beat the Penetang Kings, 4-3 (OT).

The win by Alliston clinched the best of seven series at 2-4.

The Hornets were paced by Byblow, who had one goal and one assist.

Alliston could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game. The leading offender was Cole Parker, who totaled four minutes in penalty time with two minors.

Alliston also got points from Randy Cox, who also grabbed one goal and two assists and Byblow, who also registered one goal and one assist. Tanner Dockerty also scored for Alliston. Other players who recorded assists for Alliston were Matt Thompson and Mike Campeau, who each chipped in one.

Penetang was led by Jacob Robitaille, who racked up one goal and one assist. Robitaille scored 13:08 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Penetang additionally got points from Robitaille, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Penetang got a goal from Shawn Moser as well. More assists for Penetang came via Hayden Cole and Jonathan OHara, who contributed one each.

Robbie Alsop turned away 25 pucks between the pipes for the Hornets. Alliston registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Jake Smith recorded 26 saves for the Kings. Penetang incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
