Mike Campeau lifted the Alliston Hornets to a 6-2 victory with a hat trick against the Penetang Kings. Campeau's first goal came 5:35 into the second period. He then added goals at seven seconds into the third and at 11:48 into the third.With the win, Alliston evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. The Hornets' penalty kill excelled, as Alliston gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. The Hornets stifled Penetang's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Alliston could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game. The leading offender was Cole Parker, who totaled six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Alliston additionally got points from Randy Cox, who also registered one goal and four assists, Matt Thompson, who also tallied one goal and one assist, and Campeau, who also racked up three goals and one assist. Dakota Brooks also scored for Alliston. More assists for Alliston came via Zack Skubnik, Cody Rhodes, and Zenon Byblow, who contributed one each. The Kings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Penetang was helped by Nick Arcan, who had one goal. Arcan scored 6:08 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Penetang. Penetang got a goal from Zach Leduc as well. Other players who recorded assists for Penetang were Jonathan OHara and Jacob Robitaille, who each chipped in one. Robbie Alsop turned away 16 pucks between the pipes for the Hornets. Jake Smith recorded 22 saves for the Kings. Penetang incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
