Southern Connecticut downs Loyola University in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

Southern Connecticut's Steve Rosenkrantz scored 1:01 into overtime to beat Loyola University, 5-4 (OT).

Southern Connecticut overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. Southern Connecticut fell behind 4-1 after a goal by Loyola University's Ben York at 9:42 in the second period. Southern Connecticut tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Rosenkrantz at 19:29 in the third period.

Rosenkrantz was all over the ice for Southern Connecticut, as he tallied four goals and one assist in the win. Rosenkrantz's first goal came 6:00 into the first period. He then added goals at 16:26 into the third.

Southern Connecticut's offense rang up 38 shots on Loyola University's net. Southern Connecticut was shut out on the power play, going scoring scoreless on nine chances with a man advantage.
