The referees had their hands full the Port Perry Mojacks' 4-1 victory over the Georgina Ice, as each team could not keep their players out of the penalty box. After the loss made the series score 1-2 in the best of five series, Georgina faces elimination next time out. Port Perry was led by Matt Murray, who registered one goal. Murray scored on the power play 2:45 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Port Perry. Logan Evans provided the assist. The Mojacks put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Ice to score on any of their five power plays. Port Perry was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 21 penalty minutes. The leading offender was Evans, who totaled six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Port Perry also got points from Evans, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Port Perry got a goal from Corey Durward as well. In addition, Port Perry received assists from Nick Chisholm, who had one and Josh Boniface and Kyle London, who each chipped in two. Georgina was often in penalty trouble, totaling nine minors and two majors for 38 minutes in penalty time. The Ice surpassed its season average of 25 penalty minutes per game. Georgina was led by Robert Evans, who scored the team's only goal. Evans scored 10:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Georgina. John Livingston assisted on the tally. The Mojacks registered three goals on 12 power play opportunities. For Port Perry, Kirk Bricknell was ejected from the game. For the Ice, Cody Mainprize, Mackenzie Maynard, and Brett Humbruff were ejected from the contest.
