Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as Space Coast Hurricanes defeated East Coast EJHL South Eagles in a shootout 3-2 (2-1 SO).

The shootout featured 10 attempts between both teams. East Coast EJHL South Eagles got a shootout goal from Brad Mitchell. In addition to the clincher, Space Coast Hurricanes got a shootout goal from Jack Musil.

Space Coast Hurricanes was sparked by mark woinicki, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Woinicki scored 13:08 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Musil picked up the assist.

Space Coast Hurricanes forced East Coast EJHL South Eagles goalie Christian OShea to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots.

East Coast EJHL South Eagles was helped by Van Stefanou, who tallied one goal. Stefanou scored on the power play 4:58 into the third period to make the score 1-0 East Coast EJHL South Eagles. East Coast EJHL South Eagles had gained a power play chance when Alec Cochran was whistled for tripping. Chase Harris provided the assist.
