Huge game by Lavrenov boosts Port Colborne over Fort Erie, 9-7Fort Erie Leisureplex Mon, Feb 20, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Port Colborne Pirates' Dima Lavrenov had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing three assists in his team's 9-7 win over the Fort Erie Meteors. Lavrenov's tallies came at 11:28 into the third period to make the score 7-6 Port Colborne and 13:56 into the third to make the score 8-6 Port Colborne.Port Colborne made Fort Erie's goaltenders to work without much rest, finishing with 49 shots and forcing 40 saves.
