Stoddard lifts Mississippi RiverKings over Mississippi Surge, 3-1

Mississippi RiverKings relied on the scoring touch of Darrell Stoddard, who netted two goals, to beat Mississippi Surge, 3-1.

Stoddard's tallies came at 8:35 into the third period to make the score 1-1 and 19:37 into the third to make the score 3-1 Mississippi RiverKings.

With 44 shots on target during the contest, Mississippi RiverKings exceeded the 24.4 shots it averages per game this year.

Nick Vandenbeld also scored for Mississippi RiverKings. In addition, Mississippi RiverKings received assists from Kevin Hamel, Deven Stillar, Ken Selby, Mark Magnowski, and Chevan Wilson, who each chipped in one.
