The Huntsville Havoc tried their best to erase a three-goal deficit, but the Knoxville Ice Bears would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-2. Knoxville made the score 4-1 on a goal by Berkley Scott at 11:45 in the third period, and Huntsville got as close as 4-2 when Justin Fox scored 14:00 into the third period. The 42 shots that the Ice Bears put on net surpassed Knoxville's average of 30 shots per game this season. The Ice Bears were led by Eric Slais, who racked up one goal and one assist. Slais scored short handed 3:31 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Knoxville. Knoxville was on a disadvantage when Dan Bremner went off the ice for hooking. David Segal provided the assist.
