Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Brendan Taylor secured the win for the RiverHawks with a goal in the third period.

Fayetteville got a goal from Bobby Reed as well. In addition, Fayetteville received assists from Mike Brown and Chris Leveille, who contributed one each.
