The Fort Wayne Komets' Kaleigh Schrock scored 3:02 into overtime to beat the Tulsa Oilers, 2-1 (OT). Fort Wayne's Gerry Festa was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 27 saves and let only one puck past him. Festa certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 3.02 entering the contest. The Komets were led by Schrock, who racked up one goal. With 44 shots on target during the contest, Fort Wayne exceeded the 29 shots it averages per game this year. Fort Wayne got a goal from Chris Auger as well. Other players who recorded assists for Fort Wayne were Frankie DeAngelis, Bobby Chaumont, Brent Henley, and Jamie Milam, who contributed one each. Tulsa's offense operated below it season average. The Oilers put an average of three pucks into the net per game.
