The Buffalo Stars Stars had trouble finding ways to stop the NY AppleCore Applecore Minor B, which beat Stars, 7-0. Joseph Naclerio had a great game for NY AppleCore, netting two goals. Naclerio found the back of the net 6:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 NY AppleCore and again while 16:47 into the third to make the score 6-0 NY AppleCore. The Applecore Minor B stifled Buffalo Stars' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. NY AppleCore's defensive play was more effective than usual against the Stars. The Applecore Minor B allow two goals per game. NY AppleCore forced Buffalo Stars goalie Connor Stockman to work between the pipes, taking 45 shots. The Applecore Minor B outdid their season average for goals scored. NY AppleCore averages four goals per game. NY AppleCore additionally got points from Keegan Travers, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Matthew Bavaro, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for NY AppleCore included Michael Conslato, who had one and Philipp Kreuzer, who had two.
