Green Mountain Glades boosted by Bechard's play in net, beats Boston Bandits 4-1

Brandon Bechard stood on his head and made 35 saves to lead the Green Mountain Glades Glades to a 4-1 victory over Boston Bandits.

Green Mountain Glades was led by Haralds Egle, who registered one goal and one assist. Egle scored 9:27 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Green Mountain Glades. Niles Owen assisted on the tally.

The Glades put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Boston Bandits to score on any of its five power plays. Green Mountain Glades' offense efficiently hummed along to the tune of 37 shots put on Boston Bandits' net.

Green Mountain Glades additionally got points from Egle, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Tipper Higgins, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Liam Slyne also scored for Green Mountain Glades. In addition, Green Mountain Glades received assists from Zachary Bakotic, who had two and Victor Ivarsson and Joshua Bell, who each chipped in one.

Boston Bandits stifled the Glades' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Boston Bandits' offense operated below it season average. Boston Bandits puts an average of four pucks into the net per game. Green Mountain Glades was unable to stop Boston Bandits from sending pucks towards the net, and Boston Bandits eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Boston Bandits was led by Niall Caparon, who scored the team's only goal. Caparon scored 5:19 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Green Mountain Glades. Paul Fregeau picked up the assist.
