Huge game by Eichel boosts Junior Bruins over South Shore Kings, 7-4

The Junior Bruins Junior Bruins' Jack Eichel had a big offensive game, scoring four goals and contributing one assist in his team's 7-4 win over South Shore Kings.

Eichel's first goal came 13:40 into the first period. He then added goals at 4:47 into the second, at 8:14 into the second, and at 1:05 into the third.

Junior Bruins made opposing netminders to work all game long, taking 33 shots and forcing 26 saves. Brian Jacobs made 17 stops and Daniel Touzos made nine.

Junior Bruins also got points from Tyler Warila, who also grabbed two goals and one assist. Mat Harris also scored for Junior Bruins. More assists for Junior Bruins came via Mac Cook, who had two and Nick Centauro, Hamilton Whyte, Conor Garland, Chris Miller, Colby Ryan, and Josh Couturier, who contributed one each.

South Shore Kings did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. South Shore Kings averages six goals per game. South Shore Kings' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. South Shore Kings gives up two goals per game.

South Shore Kings was led by Patrick deMontigny, who had two goals. deMontigny scored the first of his two goals at 16:05 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Tyler Ayers assisted on the tally. deMontigny's next tally made the score 2-1 South Shore Kings with 18:40 left in the second period. Evan Jacques picked up the assist. South Shore Kings got a goal from David Lazaro as well. Other players who recorded assists for South Shore Kings were Brandon Yee, Charles Buckley, Jack Kilty, and Paul Wagner, who each chipped in one.

Brian McGrath recorded 22 saves for the Junior Bruins. Junior Bruins incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. South Shore Kings incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
