Joseph Rametta lifted Jersey Wildcats to a 4-1 victory with a hat trick against Potomac Patriots. Rametta's first goal came 5:22 into the first period. He then added goals at 9:01 into the first and at 14:55 into the second.Jersey Wildcats pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 18 penalty minutes. Jersey Wildcats kept Potomac Patriots' goalie busy throughout the game, and Patrick Anderson made 28 saves on 32 shots. Jersey Wildcats got a goal from Zachary DeSaulniers as well. In addition, Jersey Wildcats received assists from Trevor Post, who had one and Martin Rovnak, who had three. Potomac Patriots excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Potomac Patriots was led by Jeffery Egan, who scored the team's only goal. Egan scored on the power play 5:28 into the third period to make the score 4-1 Jersey Wildcats. Potomac Patriots had gotten the advantage when Jersey Wildcats' Gage Malinowski was sent off for cross checking. Alexander Mandeville provided the assist. Jersey Wildcats' Christoph Mutschin stopped 21 shots out of the 22 that he faced. Potomac Patriots incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
