Seeback nets hat trick, leads Suffolk Juniors to 9-7 win over New York Apple Core

Christopher Seeback netted a hat trick to lead Suffolk Juniors over New York Apple Core, 9-7.

Seeback got on the scoresheet 4:58 into the second period. He then added goals at 9:17 into the third and at 12:33 into the third.

Both teams had a hard time staying out of the box, and they combined for 19 penalties during the game.

New York Apple Core was unable to stop Suffolk Juniors from sending pucks towards the net, and Suffolk Juniors eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Suffolk Juniors' goal total was higher than its season average. This season, Suffolk Juniors averages five goals per contest. Suffolk Juniors could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Suffolk Juniors had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just two goals on nine chances. The defensemen of Suffolk Juniors were also effective in New York Apple Core's zone, and came away with two goals.

Suffolk Juniors also got points from Cameron Smith, who also finished with two goals and one assist, Chris Stemke, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Brett Kaiser, who also racked up two goals and one assist, Seeback, who also grabbed three goals and three assists, and Brian Kesler, who also tallied one goal and two assists. In addition, New York Apple Core received assists from Tarou Duffy and Brian Hurley, who contributed one each.

Suffolk Juniors' Pupplo stopped 34 shots out of the 41 that he faced. Mark Zapson made 31 saves for New York Apple Core on 39 shots. For New York Apple Core, DeLury was ejected from the game.
