New Hampshire Jr Monarchs outlasts New England Huskies, 3-2

New Hampshire Jr Monarchs gutted out a close 3-2 win against New England Huskies.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Nick Miller secured the win for New Hampshire Jr Monarchs with a goal in the second period.

New England Huskies' power play was ineffective against New Hampshire Jr Monarchs' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

New Hampshire Jr Monarchs kept New England Huskies' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joseph Beauchesne made 34 saves on 37 shots. New Hampshire Jr Monarchs could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 46 minutes in penalties during the game. The leading offender was Timothy Ward, who totaled 14 minutes in penalty time with two minors and one misconduct.
