Granite City rips St. Louis, 5-1Armadillo Deck Arena East Sun, Mar 11, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
The Granite City Lumberjacks were firing on all cylinders against the St. Louis Jr. Blues, and when the final buzzer sounded Lumberjacks emerged with a 5-1 win. Granite City was sparked by Nick Turbitt, who grabbed one goal. Turbitt scored 7:59 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Granite City. Peter Lindblad picked up the assist. The Lumberjacks' offense rang up 31 shots on St. Louis' net. Granite City also got points from DJ Vold, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
