The Battle Creek Jr. Revolution could not stop the Queen City Steam's Trevor Anderson, who tallied a hat trick in a 6-1 win. Anderson's first goal came 17:16 into the first period. He then added goals at 3:38 into the second and at 11:16 into the third.Queen City's penalty kill excelled, as the Steam gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Queen City stifled Battle Creek's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Jr. Revolution were unable to stop the Steam from sending pucks towards the net, and Queen City eventually piled up 47 shots on goal. The Steam outdid their season average for goals scored. Queen City averages three goals per game. Queen City also had goals scored by Cole Godfrey, who had one and Eric Woodward, who had two. More assists for Queen City came via Zachary Newman, Lucas McCammant, and Taylor Penman, who each chipped in one and Ryan Faucheux, Tristan Schimanski, and Nick Okada, who contributed two each. Battle Creek could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 16 minutes in penalties during the game. The leading offender was Steven Sadowsky, who totaled four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Jr. Revolution were led by Andre Pelltier, who scored the team's only goal. Pelltier scored 14:00 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Chris Williams provided the assist. Alex Lazarski made 24 saves for the Steam on 25 shots. Queen City incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Battle Creek's Trevor Beck stopped 41 shots out of the 47 that he faced.
