The Twin City Steel had trouble finding ways to stop the Granite City Lumberjacks, which beat Steel, 4-1. Granite City's penalty kill excelled, as the Lumberjacks gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays. Granite City stifled Twin City's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.
